Cubo
Installation for the 14th edition of the Arte en la tierra International Land Art Festival
The white, abstract cube stands next to the church, in contrast the the landscape of the territory. Built with scaffolding (with the collaboration of Mavyal), it takes place over four levels covered with thin white membranes suspended from the perimeter, which change their presence according to the position of the sun. The cube creates a prism with a courtyard in the middle, in which people can walk and wander inside. As a refuge, the space is configured to inhabit the landscape in which the different platforms show the environment in a veiled way, allowing a new approach to the area.
