Exhibition design of the architecture, city and thought program Concentrador
A hub of architecture, city, and thought – this is the exhibition cycle that CentroCentro hosted in the section dedicated to architecture. Curated by Inés Caballero, it consisted of a cycle of three exhibitions that gave visibility to contents, languages and hidden values in the architecture of the city of Madrid that exist in its historical archives, professional legacies, academic works, specialist publications and cultural catalogues.
The exhibition format was conceived as a great archive, built using a band of movable panels designed to encourage a more active visit of the exhibition. The panels, which are mounted perpendicular to the wall, rotate in order to create small exhibition spaces that show the work of each photographer, with an emphasis on the focus of attention and personal relationship with each work.
These pieces are transformed in each exhibition of the cycle, but in such a way that a plot and aesthetic thread is maintained.
