Lampedusa
Exhibition design for the exhibition `Lampedusa. Leer bien para vivir mejor´
The exhibition design is based around the need to configure two differentiated spaces in a single structure that does not initially encourage it. Five “bridges” that fly over another exhibition space and that must show the two most relevant and almost unique works of Lampedusa.
On the one hand, his work The Leopard, both in its novel form and the legendary film by Visconti; on the other hand, his philanthropic nature through the teaching of literature to two young apprentices which transformed their lives.
The exhibition design has been configured using strategies such as colour (marsala/natural), the horizontality or verticality of new wooden structures, and transparency as a tool of visual continuity to emphasise the relationship between visitors and reading.
