This event is the culmination of cultural programmes from the Arquia Foundation aimed at young architects (arquia/becas and arquia/proxima). The event seeks, in essence, to reward the excellence of the new generations of Spanish architects.

In this 6th edition, the Arquia Foundation aims to evolve the professional format of the Forum into a transversal Festival model. The strategies carried out include the opening up of the competition to design the festival’s architecture, the curation of the itinerary and events in the city, and the identity and image of the entire edition.

The definition of the content and the conceptual framework in which it is developed is the task of the curator of the 6th edition of the arquia/próxima programme, which in this call for proposals is Iñaki Carnicero, who has proposed the slogan: Relevant practices.
